Investment thesis
The Elevate Program targets mid-stage, technology-based startups with a launched MVP, early customer validation, and founders preparing for a pre-seed or seed raise. Participants receive $10,000 in equity-free funding paid in instalments, $10,000 in credits toward legal and financial services, up to three months of rent-free co-working space, mentoring, workshops, and investor introductions. Startups retain full ownership and IP. Eligible ventures must be Australian-registered, scalable, and typically connected to Swinburne staff, students, or alumni, or aligned with Swinburne's research strengths such as climate, advanced manufacturing, health/medtech, space, aerospace, and AI. High-potential ventures may be considered for investment by Swinburne Ventures Limited.
