Southern Angels is a South Australia-based not-for-profit angel investor network of more than 50 high-net-worth members who contribute both capital and expertise to startups. Members bring experience in building companies and have had successful exits themselves. The group invests across sectors including biotech, fintech, advanced manufacturing, data analysis, software and IT, and is deeply embedded in the Australian entrepreneurial ecosystem with links to other angel groups, VCs, advisory firms, government programs, universities, incubators and accelerators. It also runs angel investor education programs and established a bare trust to facilitate smaller cheques into more startups.
