Sky Ocean Ventures

Jamie Rowles has completed over 50 climate and environmental investments at funds in the UK and US, joining from Founders Forum Group where he helped launch climate investment programs, including one at the University of Oxford. He built and manages a portfolio formerly known as Sky Ocean Ventures, an ocean health fund focused on the plastic crisis, and is a founding team member of AgTech company Tropic Biosciences and founder of the food operations marketplace AirKitchen. He earned an MBA at UCLA Anderson and previously worked as a private equity investment lawyer with Freshfields, Blackstone, and Simpson Thacher in London and the Middle East.

Martijn Lopes Cardozo is a Partner at Regeneration.VC, where he supports the fund's European expansion across fundraising, sourcing, diligence, and ecosystem building. He earlier founded companies in mobile and digital media in California, including GoldPocket Interactive (acquired by Tandberg/Ericsson) and GPW (acquired by Motricity), before focusing on the circular economy as CEO of Black Bear and later CEO of Circle Economy. He holds an MSc in Applied Physics from TU Delft and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and serves as an entrepreneur-in-residence with YES!Delft.
