Peter Franz co-founded Shoreline, where he serves as a Partner and member of the Investment Committee, focusing on evaluating and executing investment transactions, managing portfolio companies, and overseeing the firm's back-office operations. He has more than 30 years of transactional experience and has sat on dozens of private company boards. Before Shoreline, he was Co-Managing Partner of Florida Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, and worked in leveraged finance and investment banking; he holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School and an M.B.A. from Northwestern's Kellogg School.

Ian Garland helped form Shoreline in 2019 and focuses on evaluating and executing investment transactions and managing portfolio companies, with over ten years of relevant experience. He previously worked at PNC Riverarch Capital, a middle market private equity firm, and began his career as an investment banking analyst at Raymond James covering communication and technology-enabled services. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida and an M.S. in Finance from the University of Tampa, and is a CFA charterholder.

Michael Brennan manages business development and sourcing at Shoreline, originating and qualifying new opportunities and leading coverage of the firm's intermediary network of bankers, brokers, lawyers, wealth managers, and accountants. He was previously a Senior Vice President of Middle Market banking at SunTrust Bank in Jacksonville, and earlier worked with middle market companies at PNC Bank and Bank of America. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida.

Andy Bedenk supports portfolio companies at Shoreline by executing strategic initiatives and providing expertise on integration. He previously served as an Assistant Vice President at Dorilton Capital, a NYC-based family office private equity firm, where he handled commercial and operational diligence, strategic planning, and integration work, and began his career in Deloitte's strategy & operations practice in Atlanta. He holds a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business.

Taylor Wood evaluates and executes investment transactions and manages portfolio companies at Shoreline. He previously was a Vice President at Silver Oak Services Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, where he served on the boards of six portfolio companies, and earlier worked as an Associate at Trinity Hunt Partners and an investment banking Analyst at Deutsche Bank Securities. He holds a B.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Anna Hennessy supports portfolio initiatives and integration efforts at Shoreline. She previously worked as an Associate in Bain & Company's general strategy consulting practice, where she focused on post-acquisition strategy, integration management, technology implementation, and operating model design across various industries. She holds a B.S. in Applied Economics & Management with a concentration in Business Analytics from Cornell University.

Ben Klein works at Shoreline, where he evaluates and executes investment transactions, conducts due diligence and financial analysis, and supports portfolio companies. Before Shoreline, he was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Industrials Group at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co., advising middle market companies on M&A transactions. He holds a B.B.A. from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Catherine Moore supports Shoreline's executive team and firm operations, and coordinates the firm's internal and off-site events. She holds a B.A. in Art History and English from Jacksonville University, along with master's degrees in culinary art and professional catering.

Dan Giddens is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Shoreline, where he handles fund administration, operations, compliance, and LP reporting. He previously served as Controller of Private Debt at Audax Group and held finance and accounting roles at AEW Capital Management and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a Certified Public Accountant with a B.S. in Business Administration from Bryant University and an M.B.A. from the University of Rhode Island.

Jacob Van Brunt supports portfolio companies and works on financial analysis, due diligence, and the evaluation and execution of investment transactions at Shoreline. He previously served as a Senior Associate in the Transaction Advisory Services group at Carr, Riggs and Ingram, where he handled diligence and prepared Quality of Earnings reports in the middle market. He holds a B.S. in Financial Management, with a concentration in Banking and Investments, from Clemson University.

Jon Wood works with Shoreline's portfolio companies on strategic initiatives and M&A integration efforts. He was previously a Vice President of Value Creation at Kedge Capital, working with management teams from acquisition through exit across commercial strategy, operations, organizational effectiveness, and post-acquisition integration, and earlier worked in strategy consulting. He holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a Business minor from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Kevin Tyler works at Shoreline, where he evaluates and executes investment transactions, performs due diligence and financial analysis, and supports portfolio companies. He was previously an Investment Banking Analyst at RBC Capital Markets in the Communications, Media and Entertainment Group, advising middle market companies on M&A and capital markets transactions. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an M.S. in Finance from the University of Florida.

Lorenzo Gonzales works at Shoreline, where he evaluates and executes investment transactions, performs due diligence and financial analysis, and supports portfolio companies. He previously worked as an investment banking analyst in the Consumer & Retail Group at Deloitte Corporate Finance, executing sell-side M&A deals. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mac McCready evaluates and executes investment transactions at Shoreline, handling due diligence, financial analysis, and portfolio company support. He was previously an Investment Banking Analyst at Raymond James in the Diversified Industrials Group, advising middle market companies on M&A and capital markets transactions. He holds a B.S. in Engineering Science and Economics from Vanderbilt University.

Mark Fregat oversees fund administration, technology, operations, and compliance at Shoreline. He previously worked as a Senior Associate at SS&C GlobeOp handling fund administration for US-based growth equity clients, and earlier served on the Product Control team at Macquarie Group, where he prepared and analyzed daily P&L reporting for the Energy Trading Division.

Megan Ortman supports Shoreline's business development efforts, including marketing campaigns, team call reporting accountability, and targeted email outreach. Her earlier career included roles as Marketing and Events Coordinator at the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce and as an Account Executive at advertising agencies in Charlotte, NC and Jacksonville, FL. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Marketing from Western Illinois University.

Nash Griffin works at Shoreline, where he evaluates and executes investment transactions, conducts due diligence and financial analysis, and supports portfolio companies. He previously worked as an investment banking Associate in the Technology Group at Wells Fargo, focusing on M&A and capital raises. He holds a B.S. in Commerce from The University of Virginia.

Natalie Rufat develops and executes investment theses that shape Shoreline's strategy. Before joining the firm, she spent over a decade at EY and EY-Parthenon, advising PE and corporate clients on M&A transactions and growth strategy, and later served as a Pillar Leader in EY America's Office of Strategic Execution. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Owen Burden works at Shoreline, where his responsibilities include supporting portfolio companies, performing financial analysis and due diligence, and helping evaluate and execute investment transactions. He previously worked as an M&A Advisory Associate at Ernst & Young. He earned a B.S. in Accounting from Furman University and a Master of Accounting from Vanderbilt University, and is a licensed CPA.

Peter Bouret evaluates and executes investment transactions at Shoreline, handling due diligence, financial analysis, and support for portfolio companies. He previously worked as an Analyst in the Industrials Group at Jefferies, advising middle market companies on capital markets and M&A transactions. He holds a B.S. in Human & Organizational Development, with minors in Economics and Corporate Strategy, from Vanderbilt University.

Melanie Levine is a Partner and Global Head of Client Partnerships & Business Development at Davidson Kempner, where she oversees the Sales, Product Specialist, and Investor Relations teams. She joined the firm in 2005 and previously worked as an Associate in the Institutional Equity Sales Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co. She holds a B.S. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
