Martin serves as CFO, President of Medical Devices, treasurer, and a director of RCT's board, leading the firm's medical device investments. He holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson, an MS in biomedical engineering from USC, and a BS in biology/biochemistry from the University of Michigan.

Kirkpatrick has over 25 years of experience managing venture investments and technology development programs across oncology, inflammation, metabolic disease, neurological disorders, and biotherapeutics and life science tools. He oversees RCT's venture investments, technology development, and special licensing programs, and serves on several biomedical startup boards, including as a founding director of the Critical Path Institute.

Paul Hoerbelt is Director of Biotechnologies at Research Corporation Technologies. He holds a PhD in neuroscience and neuropharmacology, with over 10 years of experience across life sciences, consulting, and finance, including postdoctoral research at Stanford and management consulting at L.E.K. His background includes venture capital work evaluating biotech companies and co-authoring peer-reviewed research in journals including Nature, Cell, and PNAS.

Brad Morie oversees the licensing of RCT's biotechnology programs, including Pichia Classic, Pichia GlycoSwitch, ClearColi and other protein expression platforms. He previously held business development and licensing roles at Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services, Catalent, Lonza, BIOCRATES and Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Souvignier performs scientific and business analysis of early-stage biomedical investment opportunities and manages a portfolio of RCT projects and investments, focusing on life science tools and therapeutics. He has held roles at RCT since 2003, previously worked at Guilford Pharmaceuticals, and holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and an MBA from the University of Arizona.

Wiersma manages RCT's pharmaceutical and biologics patent estate, evaluates IP for investment opportunities, and oversees a portfolio of commercialized technologies. He has been involved in commercializing anticancer agents, radiopharmaceuticals, and the PSA prostate cancer blood test, with focus areas in biologics, diagnostics, oncology, and metabolic disease.
