He joined MDP in 2018, having previously been a Managing Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch within Leveraged Finance Capital Markets. He holds a B.S. from Babson College.

His interests include emerging technologies, financial institutions, workplace diversity and inclusion, woodworking, and reading.

Sven Hentschel studied European Finance & Accounting in Bremen and Leeds and spent over five years at KPMG in financial services, where he also founded and sold a cloud-based reporting platform for investors and capital seekers. He later led the controlling department of a real estate group, focusing on digital transformation in finance. As CFO at coparion, he oversees finance and controlling with an emphasis on data-driven corporate management.

Venture Partner with over 30 years of global executive and entrepreneurial experience across North America and Asia. Co-founded ViXS Systems (TSX-listed semiconductor company) and Pool Global Partners, previously served as CEO of Hong Kong ASTRI, and currently leads ventureLAB in Toronto.
