Investment thesis
The PSL Innovation Fund invests at the seed stage in high-technology startups arising from the PSL ecosystem, spanning PSL's areas of scientific excellence including biomedical engineering and life sciences, digital technologies, artificial intelligence, energy and environment, materials, and cognitive sciences. Managed by Elaia Partners, it focuses on projects with strong technological content led by PSL students or researchers and supported by PSL research teams. The fund builds close relationships with founders from the earliest development phases and complements PSL's broader innovation-support chain, from research maturation through the PSL Tech Seed scheme to seed financing. The portfolio is expected to reach 25 to 30 companies by the end of the investment period.
