Investment thesis
NPIF II - Maven Equity Finance is a regional fund managed by Maven under the British Business Bank's Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II. It aims to address the early-stage funding gap between the North and South of England, increasing the supply and diversity of finance for smaller businesses. The fund invests up to £5 million in ambitious, growth-focused companies across the North East (Darlington, Hartlepool, Stockton-on-Tees, South Teesside, Durham, Northumberland, Sunderland and Tyneside). Funding supports a range of needs including machinery purchases, capital expenditure, export finance, new product development, hiring and working capital, and is available to both start-ups and established SMEs at all stages of development.
