Investment thesis
The Indigenous Advancement Strategy is an Australian Government funding program run by the National Indigenous Australians Agency to support First Nations Australians. It is organized around six components: Jobs, Land and the Economy; Children and Schooling; Safety and Wellbeing; Culture and Capability; Remote Australian Strategies; and Research and Evaluation. The government allocated $7.2 billion over four years to 2026-27. Funding is delivered in partnership with First Nations communities, organisations, businesses, and service providers, with solutions jointly developed at regional and local levels. Applicants can access opportunities through GrantConnect or via community-initiated proposals.
