Investment thesis
Lucha invests in Latin American startups obsessed with closing social or environmental gaps, challenging the notion that impact equals philanthropy by insisting that investing in the planet must be financially profitable. Its stated purpose is for Latin America to lead the regenerative economy. The program applies a six-pillar methodology covering strategy, impact, capital, connections, storytelling, and leadership, and partners with global impact institutions including the Inter-American Development Bank and the Anglo American Foundation. As of its 2025 baseline it supported 47 startups across 12 countries.
