Investment thesis
Liberty Growth invests in industries adjacent to Liberty Global's core telecoms business, drawing on the parent company's expertise and track record in telecoms, financing and M&A. Its infrastructure arm targets edge computing, where it established AtlasEdge with partner DigitalBridge and invested in EdgeConneX to bring data centres closer to consumers, as well as monetizing operating-company assets such as towers and property. In the energy space, it builds and backs clean energy infrastructure businesses, including egg Power and egg Solutions, and partnered with Zouk Capital to create Liberty Charge (now Believ), rolling out EV street-charging across the UK.
