Investment thesis
Label Investments focuses on agribusiness, investing in technology and long-term consumer trends shaping the future of agriculture. On the technology side it backs disruptive, scalable innovations such as vertical farming, hydroponics, controlled-environment agriculture, biocontrol and crop nutrition, precision farming, alternative proteins (cellular cultivation, insect-based), digitalization and biotechnology, partnering with founders from pre-Series A through Series A and follow-ons. On the consumer side it targets sustainable production, food supply-chain optimization and high-growth fresh-produce categories like citrus, berries, tropicals and nuts. It also invests in greenfield agricultural land and established companies, acting as a long-term investor with holding periods often beyond ten years.
