KHAN is an early-stage life sciences venture fund focused on translating academic research into commercially viable drug assets. It partners cooperatively with academic innovators across Europe (EU/Horizon 2020 countries), targeting first-in-class therapies for markets with high unmet medical need, remaining indication- and modality-agnostic. KHAN acts as an active facilitator/incubator, not requiring a fully validated asset, filed patent, legal entity, or complete team. It helps structure projects, build companies, and advance innovations toward patients while sourcing assets through its incubation ecosystem, notably a partnership with the Lead Discovery Center. Investments span proof of concept through pre-seed and seed stages, including validated targets, drug candidate nomination, IND filing, and first-in-man studies.
