Investment thesis
Funded by evergreen family capital, Jacobs Capital invests €100m-€300m of equity per business to build a concentrated portfolio of majority (or co-controlling) stakes in high-performing, cash-flow generative, well-managed European companies. It has a pan-European focus across Western, Central and Eastern Europe and targets four sectors: Business Services, Consumer, Education and Healthcare. The firm seeks businesses with potential for sustainable growth via international expansion, add-on acquisitions and operational improvements, adding value through an engaged, active partnership. Without a fixed horizon, it generally aims to exit in the medium term but retains flexibility to hold longer. It invests only private family capital and is not seeking external investment.
