Investment thesis
H2O focuses on social enterprises that combine commercial discipline with long-term impact in developing agricultural value chains. Rather than only investing in existing companies, the firm systematically creates new enterprises from scratch to address persistent failures across input manufacture, supply, post-harvest handling, and value-add processing. It targets a largely vacant commercial space it calls 'agricultural investment 2.0,' building scalable business models that align impact and commerciality, deploy significant capital, and recruit skilled management. H2O retains strategic control over a balanced portfolio of synergistic enterprises designed to address multiple value-chain failures simultaneously.
