Anita Watkins leads Rex Health Ventures, the venture arm of UNC Health, evaluating and supporting early-stage healthcare companies via strategic equity investments. She serves on numerous community and academic boards, chairs the NSF-funded NC ASSIST research center on healthcare wearables, and completed an Eisenhower fellowship focused on supporting female entrepreneurs.

Holly Flanagan is Managing Director at Gabriel Investments, where she has led sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management for early-stage investments over the past decade, following a 20-year career in financial services that included senior operations and business development roles at Barclays and MBNA America (now Bank of America). She serves as an Investor Director for Vertiq Propulsion Inc. and WealthHub Inc. and as an Independent Trustee of FS Investments' Credit Income Fund, where she chairs the Nominating and Governance Committee and sits on the Audit Committee, and previously held trustee roles with Hamilton Lane's Private Assets Fund and its associated special purpose acquisition company. An Eisenhower Fellow and member of the International Women's Forum and Women Corporate Directors, she holds NACD certification and both a BA and an MBA from the University of Delaware.
