EEP focuses exclusively on life sciences, seeking early-stage growth companies with unique technologies and business concepts that have the potential to become global leaders in their field. Drawing on more than 25 years of sector experience, the firm offers deep domain knowledge and an established network to help businesses scale from early stage to world-leading status. As a privately owned investor, EEP emphasizes dedication and hands-on engagement alongside its capital, treating each investment as unique and partnering closely with founders and management. Founded EEP in 1999 and co-managed its four private equity funds for over 20 years until their completion in 2020. He focuses on healthcare technology, biologics, CGT manufacturing and pharma services, and has held chairman and board roles at companies including CMC Biologics, Azanta and Aster Cephac. Previously a junior partner at CAI Capital Management and earlier worked at American Express Bank; holds an MBA from IMD and a BSc from the Copenhagen School of Economics and Business Administration.
Partner, CFO and COO of EEP, responsible for financial and operational matters, investor communication, due diligence and portfolio monitoring; has also taken interim operating roles such as CFO of Whatsonwhen. Joined EEP in 2000 after serving as a senior manager in Ernst & Young's Entrepreneurial Services Group in London and Chicago. A chartered accountant (ICAEW) and FCA Approved Person with a Masters in Engineering and Management from Birmingham University.
Advisor to EEP who founded Per Falholt Global R&D Advisory Services in 2016 and 21st.BIO in 2020. He spent many years at Novo Nordisk and Novozymes, rising to Executive Vice President for R&D, and holds an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. He chairs several boards including the DHI foundation, Curasight and Universe.
