Investment thesis
CDM Capital invests early in founders who have personally experienced the problems they are solving, often before a polished deck or momentum exists. It concentrates on sectors where the team has operating experience: fintech (payments, lending, wealth, insurance, collections, risk and embedded finance), AI-native enterprise software that replaces or upgrades human workflows rather than thin LLM wrappers, and the real economy (manufacturing, supply chains, healthcare and consumer services where execution matters as much as technology). The firm leads, co-leads or co-invests at seed and pre-Series A with conviction, often as the first institutional cheque, staying involved through the full journey and supporting portfolio companies with hiring, introductions and fundraising via its operator network.
