Douglas Trussler· Co-Founder

Doug Trussler co-founded Bison Capital in 2001. He previously worked at Windward Capital Partners LP and Credit Suisse First Boston. He holds an Honors Business Administration (HBA) degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University in Canada.

John Voge· Partner

John Voge joined Bison Capital in 2017. James Powell joined Bison Capital in 2022. He previously worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at FocalPoint Partners, a B. Riley Financial company, covering sell-side M&A and capital markets transactions, and before that was in the risk advisory practice at KPMG, focusing on forensic investigations and disputes. Olivia Theroux joined Bison Capital in 2025. She previously served as CFO of Studios at Hudson Pacific Properties (NYSE:HPP), managing financial operations for its Sunset Studios and Quixote Studios assets, following a decade in investment banking that included a Vice President role at The Sage Group, where she focused on M&A transactions across various industries, as well as earlier roles at Houlihan Lokey and Deloitte.
