Fiona McDonald is Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications at Bioindustrial Innovation Canada (BIC). She has ten years of experience in communications, including social media management, copywriting, and the design of informational materials, with a focus on environmental, conservation, and sustainability topics.

Murray McLaughlin is President of McLaughlin Consultants, where he advises on the bioeconomy, agriculture, and forestry sectors in Canada, and chairs the Biomass Quality Network Canada. He was the founding Executive Director of Bioindustrial Innovation Canada (2010-2016) and the Sustainable Chemistry Alliance (2009-2016), and has held roles including Deputy Minister of Saskatchewan Agriculture and Food, President of OAFT, Director of Business Development for the Canadian Light Source, and manager of the Foragen venture capital fund. He holds a B.Sc. from McGill University and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Cornell University, along with an honorary doctorate from Dalhousie University.

Meaghan Seagrave is a partner at Seeder Fund, a venture capital firm focused on early financing rounds for digital entrepreneurs, where she has participated in investments in SaaS and enterprise software companies across Europe. She has more than 20 years of experience spanning strategy, marketing, product management, and consulting. Seagrave also serves as a board member or observer for several of the firm's portfolio companies, contributing to strategic guidance, operational feedback, and governance oversight.
