Investment thesis
Big Issue Invest is a social impact investor backing social enterprises and charities that deliver core solutions to poverty and inequality across the UK. Since 2005 it has deployed over £100 million into hundreds of mission-aligned organisations, focusing on communities facing the highest levels of deprivation in areas such as affordable housing, employment support and healthcare. It offers Social Impact Loans from £20,000 to £4 million, equity and revenue participation (quasi-equity) for expanding organisations, and blended finance combining loans with grant support. Funding is structured around each organisation's plans and finances to strengthen long-term impact and financial resilience.
