Arya Ventures

Özlem Tümer Eke is a General Partner at Arya Ventures with experience across multiple asset classes including venture capital and public markets. She has worked on investments spanning from early-stage companies to established enterprises, as well as direct investments, foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border venture development. Her background includes fundraising, strategy, business development, ecosystem building, angel investing, and startup mentorship, with focus on financial and capital markets in Europe.

Aytül Erçil is a partner and co-CEO and chair of the board at Vispera A.S., and serves on the joint Scientific and Industrial Advisory Board at the European Machine Vision Forum of EMVA. She holds dual B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics from Boğaziçi University and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University, with a background spanning pattern recognition, computer vision, and applied mathematics. She has led international research projects funded by NATO, FP4, Eureka, NSF, FP6, Nedo, FP7, and Horizon 2020, and has received the META Women in Tech Award and the IWF "Women Who Make a Difference" Award.

Emre Ölçer is Deputy CEO at Maxis Venture Capital & Private Equity. He has held leadership roles at Isbank spanning retail banking, digital transformation, and corporate innovation, including seven years managing the bank's largest retail customer segment and three years overseeing startup engagement and the Workup acceleration program. His background also includes internal audit and compliance work across Isbank's operations.

İlhami Koç serves as a Client Serving Contractor at EY, with a background in mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, financial analysis, and corporate finance transactions. Koç holds a PhD focused in Law from Istanbul Business School – University of London/SGH and is a member of the Norwegian Institute for Bankers, the Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, and the Norwegian Association for Alternative Investments.

Istanbul Bilgi University graduate (2023) in International Finance with a Marketing minor; interned as an investment analyst at twozero Ventures, Techone Venture Capital, and Logo Ventures, and has been an investment analyst at Arya since October 2023.

Murat Yeşildere is a Managing Partner at Egon Zehnder, based in the firm's Istanbul office, where he works on executive search, board consulting, management appraisals, and development advisory. He is active in the firm's Health Services, Industrial, and Executive Assessment and Development practices, and advises clients on diversity and inclusion. He authored a book on gender equality titled "Eyvah CEO Doğuruyor."

Neşe Gök serves as board member at İnci Holding and honorary consul of Japan to Izmir. With background in economics and marketing, she has worked across production, human resources, and venture capital, developing expertise in negotiation, budgeting, business planning, and international business. She is involved in farming and NGO activities.

Dokuz Eylul University economics graduate (2022) pursuing an M.S. in Finance Management; founded two startups, interned at TUSIAD and QNB Finansbank, and held roles with Global Shapers Izmir and the UN Turkey Youth Advisory Board.

Şebnem Kalyoncuoğlu Ünlü holds an MSc in International Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and a BA in Management from Boğaziçi University. She has held senior positions at ABN AMRO Bank and Credit Suisse, including Vice President of Structured Finance and Country Manager and Head of Investment Banking in Turkey, as well as CEO of Alkhair Capital Turkey. She currently serves as an Executive Board Member at ÜNLÜ & Co and an Independent Board Member at Akfen Renewable Energy.

Boğaziçi University economics graduate (2022) with marketing and data analytics internship experience at Getir, Eli Lilly, and QNB Finansbank, plus a marketing role at Nestlé; has worked as an analyst at Arya since October 2023.

Ümit Boyner has served as an Executive Board Member of Boyner Group since 2018 and has been a member of the International Advisory Board at Chubb Group in New York since 2015. She previously sat on the Supervisory Board of Euler Hermes SA in Paris from 2013 to 2020. In the non-profit sector, she served as President of the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD (Turkish Industry and Business Association) from 2010 to 2013, later becoming Vice Chair of its High Advisory Council, and has co-chaired the Scientific Board of L'Institut Bosphore in Paris since 2016.

Umur Özal is a founder at Sky Hybrid and an investor with over a decade of experience in technology investments, having completed more than 100 deals. He currently operates a generalist mid-cap fund and previously served as a managing partner at a boutique investment firm and as an advisor to a Middle East-based private equity fund. His background encompasses financial structuring, portfolio management, project development, and corporate finance.
