Investment thesis
31VENTURES is the corporate venturing initiative of Japanese real estate group Mitsui Fudosan. It seeks to build and strengthen businesses by pairing startups' products and business models with Mitsui Fudosan's corporate resources. Beyond capital, the program offers three co-creation solutions: a CVC fund, workspace on Tokyo's East Side, and community building. Support includes introducing startup services to the Mitsui Fudosan Group, mentoring and hearings, connecting startups to group divisions and to other companies and VCs, joint consideration of joint ventures, and sales support.
