Zymeworks Inc. is a Vancouver, British Columbia biotechnology company that develops protein and antibody-based therapeutics for cancer and for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, with products built on the company's molecular modeling software for optimizing protein structure. In the United States, Ziihera is approved for previously treated, unresectable or metastatic HER2-positive (IHC 3+) biliary tract cancer under accelerated approval, and the company reported FDA approval in first-line HER2-positive advanced gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma with and without tislelizumab plus chemotherapy.

The wholly owned pipeline includes ZW191, an FRα-targeting antibody-drug conjugate carrying the in-house topoisomerase-1 inhibitor payload ZD06519 in Phase 1 with FDA Fast Track designation for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer; ZW251, a GPC3-targeted ADC in Phase 1 for hepatocellular carcinoma; and preclinical candidates ZW220 (NaPi2b ADC, IND-ready), ZW209 (a DLL3 trispecific T cell engager using the Azymetric and EFECT platforms, IND planned for the first half of 2026) and ZW1528 (an IL-4Rα x IL-33 bispecific for respiratory inflammation including mixed-type COPD, IND planned for the second half of 2026).
