Panos KourisCTOPanos Kouris holds a BSc and MSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Patras, where he studied polyphenol recovery and methane production from olive oil mill wastewater, and a second MSc in Chemical & Process Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology focused on biomass component recovery using Deep Eutectic Solvents. He completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology on liquid biofuel development from lignin and designed a pilot plant for lignocellulosic biomass conversion; he is now CTO of Vertoro, which he co-founded, overseeing technology and intellectual property.
