Steelhead Composites is a Golden, Colorado-based designer and manufacturer of pressure vessels, with a focus on lightweight composite overwrapped pressure vessels (COPVs) and related gas-storage hardware. The company positions itself around aerospace, space and defense applications, supplying propulsion and pressurant tanks and spacecraft gas-storage solutions, composite pressure vessels and rocket motor casings for launch systems, interceptor and tactical missile programs, and aviation life-support products such as aircraft oxygen cylinders, emergency breathing systems and fire suppression bottles.
