Players Health, legally operating as Ao1 Solutions Inc., is a Minneapolis-based sports technology and insurance company serving amateur sports organizations. Its platform began as a mobile and web-based athlete health record and injury-management system for youth sports, letting coaches document injuries in real time, share HIPAA-compliant health information among parents, coaches and healthcare providers, and administer return-to-play protocols after events such as concussions. The platform later added abuse-prevention functions, including coach credentialing, required training and background checks, plus aggregated injury-trend reporting for organizations.

The company operates as both an insurance broker and a managing general agent, contracting with carriers to solicit, negotiate and execute insurance contracts. It combines the risk-management software with liability insurance placement: organizations that adopt its risk services generate behavioral data that the company uses to advocate for lower premiums, a model its CEO compares to telematics-based auto insurance. Beyond its amateur-sports base, Players Health has moved into college athletics, introducing a contract protection product for NIL collectives and pursuing critical injury coverage.

The company was founded by Tyrre Burks, a former Winona State college football player who went on to play professionally in Europe and the Canadian Football League before injuries ended his career. It reported selling $80 million in premiums across 15,000 policies in 2024, covering more than five million athletes.
