Pear

Pear Protocol operates a decentralised trading interface built specifically around pair trading, a strategy in which a trader simultaneously holds a long position in one asset and a short position in another in order to profit from their relative performance rather than from overall market direction. The product lets users open a paired or basket position in one click — for example longing BTC while shorting ETH — with leverage of up to 100x, and to close positions the same way.

The platform layers execution and analytics tooling on top of this core workflow: take-profit and stop-loss orders, TWAP entries for gradual execution, built-in charting for pair trades, and real-time metrics including pair spreads and historical data. Positions are routed through what the company calls trading engines and integrations, with Hyperliquid and SYMM named as venues and the offering described as multichain pair trading. The site also references an audited platform, a token, educational material on pair trading, and a trader community.

A companion product, Agent Pear, is an AI-driven signal bot that monitors markets continuously and surfaces candidate pair trades based on mean reversion and correlation breakdown, publishing alerts that include correlation, cointegration and z-score readings, hedge ratios, funding-rate and open-interest observations, and the trading engine to be used. Pear also exposes an MCP (Model Context Protocol) endpoint at mcp.pearprotocol.io that can be added as a custom connector in AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Claude Code, allowing users to ask the assistant to scan markets and propose pair or basket assets to trade.
