How did your company get started? (i.e., How did the founders meet? How did you come up with the idea? How did you decide to be a founder?)
The two founders met at a party in San Francisco and shared an interest in construction industry problems. They spent weekends conducting field research across San Francisco, the South Bay, and Napa, talking with construction workers, and observed that superintendents spent hours transcribing and compiling notes and punch lists—an inefficiency they decided to address using their technical backgrounds.
