Dataleap

Dataleap is a San Francisco-based enterprise software company developing what it describes as an agentic operating system for the enterprise, positioned as an equivalent of coding assistants such as Cursor and Claude Code for non-engineering knowledge workers in functions like sales, operations and HR. Founding story

Co-founders Jan-Hendrik Damm (CEO) and Jan-Hendrik Rüttinger (CTO) met while studying at CDTM in Munich roughly five years before the company's launch post and subsequently shared an apartment. Damm previously worked as a consultant, including at McKinsey, and as an associate product manager on the Google search team; Rüttinger pursued machine learning research at Oxford University, worked as an AI researcher at Volkswagen, and had a stint in consulting at BCG. The pair moved to the United States and started Dataleap, which was founded in 2023.
