Cleanlab offers software for making AI applications and agents reliable in production. Its product line covers two functions: detection, which automatically identifies and blocks poor AI responses using guardrails for hallucinations, retrieval errors, documentation gaps, policy violations and malicious use in real time; and remediation, which provides a human-in-the-loop workflow allowing non-technical staff to correct AI responses and fix issues in underlying knowledge bases.

The company positions its technology as an independent layer that works with any AI system and knowledge base, requiring no changes to a customer's existing stack.
