Ulrik Sørensen COO & Co-founderUlrik Sørensen is COO and co-founder of Acesion Pharma, a Danish biotech developing pharmacological treatments for atrial fibrillation, and served as the company's CEO from 2011 to 2016. He led Acesion's drug discovery programs through selection of its IV and oral clinical candidates and was principal applicant on translational funding from the Wellcome Trust.

Morten Grunnet CSO & Co-founderMorten Grunnet holds a PhD in Medicine and is an honorary professor of pharmacology at the University of Copenhagen. He co-founded Acesion Pharma in 2011 after holding scientific and leadership roles at NeuroSearch A/S and Lundbeck, where he contributed to drug discovery, portfolio management, and R&D strategy in neuroscience.
