He was earlier CEO of Sourcefire, Inc., which he led through a March 2007 IPO before its acquisition by Cisco for $2.7 billion, and co-founded Riverbed Technologies, serving as CEO until its sale for more than $1 billion in March 2000. Jackson holds a B.B.S. in Finance from James Madison University (1985) and completed the Executive Education program in Corporate Governance at Harvard University.
