A physician-scientist with expertise in molecular diagnostics, genetics, oncology and infectious diseases, Tim previously directed the FDA's Office of In Vitro Diagnostics and held leadership roles at Invivoscribe and Quidel Corporation, as well as spending 21 years on the Duke University School of Medicine faculty. He holds an MD and PhD from Duke and a BA in Chemistry from Grinnell College.
