Taku Murahwi is a member of OMERS Ventures' North America team, where he backs founders. He began his finance career as a hedge fund accountant and previously worked as a founder, including co-founding a business he left in 2018, with earlier projects in asset-manager communication software and a tool for athletes' health and performance data. Originally from Zimbabwe, he moved to Canada and studied at St Mary's University in Halifax, where he also competed in athletics and rugby.
