Steve Millaway is founder and managing director of TechFarms Capital. He holds an electrical engineering degree from the University of Florida and spent 16 years at Burr-Brown Corporation designing semiconductor products. In 1994, he founded Gain Technology Corporation, an integrated circuit design center that developed the industry's first USB 2.0 chip, which was later licensed to Intel; the company was acquired by Standard Microsystems Corporation in 2002. He also founded Gain Communications, an internet service provider that deployed the nation's first two-way wireless broadband internet service.
