A software engineer with a background in research cryptography, he was one of the original co-authors of libsnark, a zkSNARK library used to bring zero-knowledge proofs to blockchains, and previously conducted research at the Succinct Computational Integrity and Privacy Research Lab and served as a visiting scientist at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory under Ron Rivest. He graduated first in his class from the Israeli Naval Academy and earned degrees in Physics and Computer Science, cum laude, from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
