Rory Riggs has worked in the biotechnology industry for over 25 years as an entrepreneur, executive, and investor. He co-founded and served as chairman or director of companies including Royalty Pharma, Fibrogen, Sugen, GeneNews, and Cibus, and was president and director of Biomatrix Corporation, where he launched the osteoarthritis treatment Synvisc. He is currently founder and CEO of Locus/Syntax, applying attribute-based data analytics to finance and economics, and was a co-founder of Scientia Ventures' predecessor, New Venture Funds. He holds a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA from Columbia University.
