Ravi Gurumurthy is chief executive of Nesta, the UK's innovation foundation, a role he took up in December 2019, and also leads the Behavioural Insights Team, a Nesta subsidiary. He previously co-founded and led the Airbel Innovation Lab at the International Rescue Committee, and worked in UK government from 1999 to 2013, including as an adviser and speechwriter to Foreign Secretary David Miliband. He currently holds non-executive director roles with NHS England and the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero.
