Roni Michaely is the Rudd Family professor of finance at Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management, where he teaches corporate and entrepreneurial finance at the Cornell-Tech program in NYC, and is affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC). His research covers corporate finance, capital markets, and valuation, with a current focus on conflicts of interest in capital markets, corporate payout policy, and securities valuation. He previously served as a director of the Israeli Securities Authority (1998-2003), chaired the Tachlit investment committee, and is an associate editor for the Journal of Finance.
