About
Kenneth Singleton is the Adams Distinguished Professor of Management, Emeritus at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, and currently serves as an Invited Professor at the Institute for Advanced Study (Tokyo College) at the University of Tokyo. He advises early-stage startups and fintech and insurtech venture capital funds, has consulted for multinational financial institutions, and co-founded the nonprofit 1 Grain to 1000 Grains, which supports families' healthful eating and financial capacity. Over a 40-year academic career he published on financial risk, credit risk, and dynamic asset pricing, and his recognitions include the Stephen A. Ross Prize in Financial Economics, the Frisch Prize from the Econometric Society, and Smith-Breeden prizes from the Journal of Finance.
