Karthik Reddy is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Blume Ventures, an early-stage venture fund in India that focuses on seed to Series A investments in technology-led innovation and supports leading portfolio companies into growth rounds. Before entering venture capital, he worked at American Express Bank, Instinet (then owned by Reuters), and Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (Times Group), gaining experience across financial markets, technology, and media in the US and India. At Blume, he has led investments in and served on the boards of companies such as Smallcase, Servify, Ultrahuman, Unacademy, GreyOrange, Exotel, and IDfy. Over roughly 15 years, Blume has backed more than 175 startups across multiple funds and reports over US$900 million in AUM. Reddy has also been active in shaping India's venture ecosystem, serving as Chairperson of the Executive Committee and earlier Vice Chair of the IVCA. He has served on SEBI's Alternative Investment Policy Advisory Committee and the National Startup Advisory Council chaired by the Minister of Commerce and Industry.
