Jorge Volio is the Founding and Managing Partner of Volio Capital, an investment banking firm he established in 1998 in Central America, following a 15-year career in commercial banking. Over 25 years, he has worked on M&A transactions in the banking, tourism, healthcare, food and beverage, and commercial property sectors, and has served on the boards of private, government, and non-profit organizations, including the Costa Rican Chamber of Banks, FUNDES, ICE, RACSA, the National Concessions Council of Costa Rica, and YPO. He holds an MBA from National University of California (San Diego) and has completed graduate coursework at Harvard Business School, the University of Chicago, the New York Institute of Finance, and INCAE Business School.
