He retired as Senior Partner at BHP LLP Chartered Accountants in January 2023, having held managing partner roles from 2009 to 2019 during the firm's regional expansion, and continues to advise locally owned SMEs on business strategy, succession and exit planning, and company structures. He is a trustee of Sheffield City Trust and The Children's Hospital Charity and formerly served on the Audit and Risk Committee at Sheffield Hallam University.
