John Morrissey is Managing Director of Shea Ventures, LLC, the Shea Family's private equity fund that invests directly in venture capital and other private equity. He also serves as Executive Vice President and Director of J.F. Shea Co., Inc. and its affiliates Shea Homes, J.F. Shea Construction, and Shea Properties. Before joining the Shea entities, he was a partner at Bingham McCutchen (formerly McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen) and Managing Partner of its Los Angeles office; he holds a B.A. in Economics from Yale, a PPE degree from Oxford, and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
