Jiahao Liang's research examines how synapse ultrastructure modulates neurotransmitter release and the structural basis of pathogenic β-amyloid processing in Alzheimer's disease. He holds a B.S. in Biochemistry-Molecular Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and later worked at the University of California, San Francisco, where he built yeast-display antibody libraries to study the Hedgehog signaling pathway.
