Greg Young

Greg Young is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Spruce Capital Partners, with over eighteen years of experience in biotechnology. He previously served as a Managing Director at Burrill & Company, a financial services firm focused on the life sciences, and earlier worked as a molecular biologist specializing in protein expression at a San Diego biotech startup. His investment focus includes agriculture, renewable energy, chemicals, and biological tools that support sustainability. He holds a BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from UC San Diego and an MS in Biotechnology from Northwestern University.
