About
Edvard Svetlik graduated from the University of Ljubljana's Faculty of Economics and began his career at Eta Cerkno (now part of the EGO Group), where he served on the management board. In 1980 he joined the management of Iskra Idrija and grew it into the Hidria Corporation, a global supplier of components for automotive, industrial and electric mobility applications. After exiting Hidria, he established and now chairs the Svetlik Family Office and the Svetlik Charitable Foundation, and is founder and co-owner of the Svetlik Wine Estate in Vipava Valley.
