About
David Kim serves as Vice President of Army Solutions at Castelion, a venture-backed developer of hypersonic strike missiles. He retired in 2023 as an Equity Partner and Global Co-Head of Investor Relations at Apax Partners, where he spent 29 years in private equity, raising over $40 billion in committed capital and investing over $2 billion in growth companies. Kim is also co-founder and retired CEO of the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, which provided over $105 million in college scholarships to more than 4,200 children of military members who died in the line of duty over 24 years before merging with Tunnel to Towers Foundation in 2026. A West Point graduate and former U.S. Army artillery officer, he holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and has received the Distinguished Public Service Medal from the Secretary of the Army.
