His research examines the molecular mechanisms governing adsorption processes in porous materials, including metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), with applications in drug delivery for cancer diagnosis and therapy, hydrogen and renewable energy, and carbon capture. He combines molecular simulation methods such as grand canonical Monte Carlo and molecular dynamics with experimental techniques including gas adsorption, calorimetry, neutron and X-ray diffraction, and small-angle X-ray scattering.
